The Next Trend in Advising?

The Chronicle of Higher Education reports on a new advising initiative at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley aimed at retaining students in STEM majors. The pilot project will incorporate technology to track student progress and personal coaching. If successful, UT will look to include more students in a variety of majors across the UT system.
