R.I.S.E & Inbound Extended Summer Orientation Programs

Description: In this session we will be outlining R.I.S.E. & Inbound, our extended summer orientation programs. We will talk about how these programs are set up to assist students with their transition to college, and support their academic advising experience.

Learning Outcomes: By attending this program, participants will… – learn how our first generation, minority, and low SES students are supported by the RISE program – learn how Inbound/RISE develops a sense of community with the participants – know what impact these programs have had on academic advising over the summer – learn how colleges and academic advisers can become more involved in these programs.
