Rewriting the Transfer Experience

Description: Transfer students are a growing population with a unique set of academic and social needs, but are we taking a proactive approach in developing their experience? Learn what the University of Illinois and other institutions are developing to create a more engaging, supportive environment for transfer students!

Learning Outcomes: -Participants will learn about research conducted over 2 years with data from the student perspective and peer institutions. -Participants will better understand the differences in needs that the transfer student population has from the first-year class -Participants will better understand what programs New Student Programs are providing to meet the needs of the transfer population.
