IlliAAC is excited to be able to support the professional development of great advisors on this campus. Our intention is to forward winners on for State, Regional, and National awards. Past winners of IlliAAC Awards have received regional and national NACADA Awards recognizing their outstanding work as advisors. In order to more closely align our process with these other processes we are asking for more from our nominators and nominee. In order to make informed decisions and be able to forward winners on, we ask all nominees to submit:
1) A nomination form
2) A nomination letter
3) Two letters of support (preferably with at least 1 letter from a student)
4) Nominee’s resume
5) Nominee’s advising philosophy

Award winners will receive a professional development stipend that can be used over the next two years to support professional memberships, conference attendance, webinar participation, or other related development opportunities. Award winners will also be announced and celebrated at the Annual IlliAAC Breakfast on Wednesday, May 2.
We look forward to seeing your submissions for outstanding Illinois advisors and new professionals!
